Prestack Depth Migration Software

System Overview
Kirchhoff prestack depth migration software package, running on GPU/CPU co-parallel computing architecture, includes interactive migration parallel job management tool and interactive depth-domain residual velocity analysis tool. Interactive migration parallel job management includes preparation, send and monitoring of migration job and data retrieve. Interactive depth-domain residual velocity analysis tool is used to perform residual velocity analysis on CIG gather generated by PSDM, and then to get final migration velocity model with higher precision. To complex structural area, depth imaging is accomplished by several iterations of velocity modeling and migration.

System Function

  • 3D Dynamic unstructured grid velocity modeling: integrate seismic data, seismic horizons and interval velocity volume as a whole.
  • Residual depth migration velocity analysis: residual velocity analysis is done along depth and reflection layers. The residual velocity picked is decomposed to real residual velocity of each control point by tomography, and then applied to original velocity field. This velocity field can be real-time update.
  • hybrid ray tracing wavefront reconstruction method is adopted to calculate travel-time and this can largely improve imaging precision.
  • Anisotropy prestack depth migration: imaging precision and quality can be further improved and suitable for the research of crack and fracture.
