SIMO2D, 2D full wavefield numerical simulation software, includes a series of functional modules, such as project and data management, geological model design, rock physical analysis, acquisition geometry design, seismic forward modeling, illumination analysis, seismic data analysis and imaging, etc. It is used to reveal the propagating mechanism of seismic wave in various complex media, indicate field geometry design, simulate conventional and multi-component seismic exploration, analyze and interpret AVO feature of seismic wave and simulate 4D seismic for reservoir monitoring.

Conversional and flexible acquisition geometry design (conventional acquisition, VSP acquisition and interwell acquisition, etc) , source parameter design (shooting source, shear source, direction of force, frequency and wavelet, etc) and illumination analysis.
High efficiency and high precision wave equation simulation engine for various media (Acoustic, elastic, viscoelastic, porous); numerical method (finite difference method, pseudo spectral method, etc) is used to perform seismic forward modeling and the wavefield of x, z component and the separated wavefield of P and S wave can be output by elastic simulation.
